Meet Tacie –
Founder of Azure Sky Minis
Hi there! I'm Tacie, the heart behind Azure Sky Minis.
My love for dogs started before I could walk. As a baby, I carried around a little stuffed puppy I called “Oof-Oof”, and I watched 101 Dalmatians on repeat—with Oof-Oof always in my arms. My parents still say that's when Azure Sky Minis truly began!
When I was 4, my dream came true—I got my first real dog, Wallie. At 8, I joined our local Dog 4-H Club, where an amazing leader opened my eyes to the world of dog shows, training, and all the ways dogs could be part of my life. From the beginning, I knew Miniature American Shepherds (formerly Mini Aussies) were my breed.
I named my program Azure Sky Minis after the stunning blue eyes of my first dogs, Wallie and Relic, and the bright, adventure-filled days we share under the open skies of our family farm.

More Than Just a Hobby
I’m passionate about raising well-rounded, healthy, and happy dogs. My minis and I enjoy:
Beyond DogsWhen I’m not training or showing, I also love riding and competing with my horses. I’m so thankful for the love and support of my amazing family—my parents, little sisters, grandparents, and extended relatives who have always encouraged me.
