About Our Dogs & Puppies
​ Azure Sky dog and puppy is part of our family and deeply loved. Our Miniature American Shepherds live indoors and receive the best care, whether with us or their guardian families.
As a small hobby and preservation breeder, we focus on temperament, health, genetics, beauty, and intelligence. Each litter is thoughtfully planned with your future companion in mind.
From birth, our puppies are raised with daily love and attention. We use Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) from days 3 to 16 to build confidence, resilience, and adaptability.
Your puppy will:
  • Take several car rides
  • Meet people of different ages
  • Experience a variety of social situations
  • Begin basic obedience and house training

Each puppy is given careful experience through ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) from day 3 through 16; which helps your puppy gain adaptability as well as confidence, stress tolerance, resilience, and coping mechanisms. Your puppy will have multiple car rides, meet various ages of people, numerous socialization activities, and a solid foundation of basic obedience and house training. Terms, Conditions, & Pricing

Visiting UsVisitors are welcome! For safety reasons, we have a few restrictions around our dogs and puppies. Please contact us before coming.
Holding Fee & Puppy ReservationsWe require a $250 non-refundable holding fee to reserve a puppy. This fee can be carried over for up to 2 years until the right puppy is available for you.
Please note:
  • We do not guarantee color or eye color, as personality and temperament are the priority for long-term compatibility.
  • If we choose not to sell you a puppy, your fee will be refunded.
  • If something happens to your puppy before pickup, your fee will be refunded or applied to a replacement of equal quality.
We primarily place puppies as pets ($2,500-$3,000), but occasionally offer show, performance, or breeding prospects ($3,000–$4,500).  We also are open to co-own partnerships (ask for details).

​Matching You With the Right Puppy
We take time to get to know you through email or phone to help match the best puppy for your home and lifestyle.
At 7.5 to 8 weeks, puppies are evaluated for personality and structure. All pets are AKC registered Miniature American Shepherds and sold with a spay/neuter agreement.
We also register each puppy’s microchip and AKC papers for a $30 fee due at pickup.
Puppy Pickup & Delivery OptionsPuppies can go home starting at 8 weeks old. You can:
  • Pick up at our ranch (1¼ hours north of Salt Lake City, 15 minutes west of Tremonton)
  • Fly into Salt Lake City and take your puppy in-cabin
  • Use our trusted flight nanny (you’ll work with them directly)
  • Request ground transport (we may help with referrals)
✈️ We do not ship puppies in cargo. If we arrange in-cabin shipping, add cost of carrier ($30–$40) and airline fees ($100–$125).
If you need extra time before pickup, let us know in advance—we may be able to hold your puppy a bit longer.
Shipping & TravelWe prefer in-person pickup or flight nanny delivery, but we can help coordinate shipping if needed.
Shipping and carrier fees must be paid in full before travel. Puppies will only be shipped after 8 weeks of age.
Health & GuaranteePuppies are:
  • Dewormed at 4, 6, and 8 weeks (based on fecal testing)
  • Vaccinated at 7.5 to 8 weeks (next due at 12 weeks)
  • Monitored closely for health and development
  • Weighed daily for the first 10 days, then weekly until 8 weeks
Parents are health tested: CERF eyes, OFA hips, elbows, patellas, and DNA panels for PRA, DM, MDR1, HC, CEA, CDDY, NAD.

We cannot guarantee adult size, as Miniature American Shepherds are bred down from Aussies.
How We Raise Our PuppiesPuppies are raised in a safe, stimulating environment we call the "small world"—a large, fenced area with grass, dirt, trees, and more.
They grow up around our home and ranch animals (horses, cattle, goats, cats), under supervision. They experience new textures, sounds, and toys like tunnels, slides, and wobble boards.
They go on short car rides by 10 days old, then weekly, and begin crate training at 5½ weeks.
We feed Life’s Abundance Kibble, and provide daily handling, weekly photos, and lots of love!
Puppy PacketEach puppy may come with:
  • Starter bag of food
  • Toys, Kong or Toppl, chew bones, collar & leash
  • Health records
  • Blanket with familiar scent
  • Microchip & AKC registration (additional $35 fee)
  • Optional samples: flea/tick spray, probiotics, immune support
