Hey there! I am Tacie, the founder of Azure Sky Minis. I have been obsessed with dogs since birth. When I was a baby my mom gave me a small stuffed-animal puppy that I brought everywhere with me. When I started talking, I called that little plush 'Oof-Oof.' I watched Disney's 101 Dalmations, with 'Oof-Oof" in my arms, every single day. My parents joke that's where Azure Sky Mini's really began. At 4 years old I was 'finally' given my very own REAL dog, Wallie! At 8 years old, I joined a local Dog 4-H Club with an amazing leader who helped me discover the many facets of dog competitions and the endless possibilities of careers with dogs. Because of my love for Wallie, I knew my breed of choice would be Mini American Shepherds, formerly known as Mini Australian Shepherds. My breeding program is called 'Azure Sky Minis' because my first two dogs (Wallie and Relic) each have beautiful blue eyes and every bright, sunny, blue-skied day on the farm are full of magical adventures. |

My minis and I enjoy participating in Conformation, Agility, Rally, Obedience, Fast Cat, Dock Diving, and I look forward to earning more AKC and UKC titles in many sports! I love competing in Junior Handling and have earned several class wins and Best Junior awards. I attended my first MASCUSA Nationals in 2021, where Relic and I won Most Versatile Junior! I strive to be a good representative of the Miniature American Shepherd Youth at every dog event I attend.
I also ride and train horses and compete in horse shows and rodeo events. My family means the world to me. I am so grateful for the support given to me by my parents, little sisters, grandparents, aunts and uncles. I am fortunate to receive help, guidance, and work alongside the following exceptional breeders and mentors: Arieanna White (PreciousGem Minis), Cindy Slocum (Fox Valley Minis), Theresa Leroy (Quail Ridge Minis), Michele Herbst (74-Ranch), Kim Gardner (Treasures Minis), Laura Reeves (Pure Dog Talk), and Lanette Sorensen (Box Elder County Dog 4-H Leader).
